ne abbiamo parlato qualche intervento fa...

hanno normato la zona... sull abase di quello che s'era visto lo scorso anno. Le interpretazioni di alcuni giornalisti davano qundi per spacciata la soluzione... ma evidentemente si puo' fare ugualmente rispettando le morme...

tra l'altro (aggiungo sulla trattazione specifica che si era fatta qualche giorno fa) sembra che le "orecchie" della presa d'aria siano comunque parte della struttura resistente (vedere la linea che si vede nella vista laterale).. quindi non mi sorprenderei che in qualche modo si è riusciti ad aggirare la norma...

brutta tegola per il team Lotus che deve sospendere i test per problemi al servosterzo, e da come dice "Gazza" devono riportare la vettura in inghilterra

gira voce che Jarno avesse appena dichiarato:"questa vettura è nata bene"

Testing finished for today due to power steering problem. Need to get it back to the uk and fixed and rebuilt overnight ready for morning

Chandhok potrebbe diventare il pilota di riserva della Lotus. Il team malese avrà modo di decidere se metterlo sotto contratto dopo che Chandhok avrà preso parte ai prossimi test di Jerez e Barcellona. Ricordo che la Lotus ha già Valsecchi come pilota collaudatore.


Chandhok to test for Lotus

Karun Chandhok is to test for Lotus at Jerez next week as the outfit evaluates the Indian with a view to signing him as reserve driver.

Former HRT driver Chandhok was a guest of Lotus during this week's Valencia test, and has made no secret of his desire to secure a role with the squad.

Team boss Tony Fernandes said Chandhok will run both at Jerez and Barcelona before a final decision is made on whether to hire him

"We would like him to be reserve driver but we've got to see whether it all works out, that's the plan," Fernandes told Reuters.

"He is going to get a couple of slots in the testing now in Jerez and Barcelona. And then we'll decide after that."

AUTOSPORT understands that the days Chandhok will run for Lotus have not yet been finalised, but will be agreed early in the coming week.

Fernandes added that technical chief Mike Gascoyne and CEO Riad Asmet were also in favour of bringing Chandhok into the line-up.

"Mike and Riad and everyone else feel he's the right guy to add value to the team," said Fernandes.

Lotus has retained Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen as its race drivers for 2011. Fairuz Fauzy was the team's reserve last year, but Lotus parted company with the Malaysian before Christmas and has since become part of Renault's test roster.
